How much of my donation actually makes it over to Rwanda?
Ninety percent of your donations go directly to satisfy the very urgent need of clean water in Rwanda. There is so much work left to do, so we continue to dedicate ten percent of your donations to the support and further development of this project.
How much money is one well?
Due to the diverse geography of Rwanda, every village we visit has unique water purification needs and therefore, a different type of water purification system necessary. Costs of the well actually range between $1,000-$10,000 depending on the specific needs of the village.
How can I see results of my well?
Within 90 days of your donation, you can visit the Rwanda Clean Water map and it will be updated with pictures of your well. In the meantime, you can see the progress of this important work in other villages in Rwanda.
